I really should keep up with the various mailing lists I receive.

If I had done so with this particular zine I would have found out on the 17th of January about BBC LDN's decision to axe Solid Steel, the brilliant radio mix show fronted by artists such as Coldcut and Hexstatic.

After the degeneration of my local commercial station, which now plays commercial pop virtually 24/7, and now this, it looks ever more likely that radio here in the UK will turn into the mess that is 90% of US radio. It's highly depressing.
