This oven is SMRT!

Brief technology update: this past week at work I discovered placards proclaiming that about five dozen products that we sold now had the "Smart Oven" (two-dimensional!) barcode on them. Turns out this technology consists of an oven with a barcode scanner that reads these 2D barcodes on the packaging, and uses the instructions encoded in the barcode to cook the item of food exactly to spec, even if doing so requires multiple changes in the oven's settings.

Can't find an "official" site documenting this Smart Oven thingy, though: just multiple mentions on manufacturer web sites. Anyone have an inkling of where I could find a breakdown of the instructions that can be encoded in one of these things?
