Not forgetting...

Two trains collided in northwestern Zimbabwe early Saturday, killing at least 37 people. Another six or seven were killed in an avalanche in Canada.

I must say, it puts the tragic Space Shuttle accident into some sort of perspective. Those killed on the shuttle (my guess is through heat shield failure) were brave men and women, who fully accepted the risks which came with the job. With all the media coverage the accident has received however, it makes me wonder how many people already knew about the other two significant tragedies that occurred today...
